The Morris Community Senior Center is a multipurpose facility open Monday through Friday with activities available for the seniors in our community. The Center provides a variety of speakers, programs, games, and arts and crafts in order to improve the well being of people ages 60 and older. Blood pressure checks are offered periodically by the Morris Volunteer Fire Department. A nutritious lunch is available on weekdays. Lunches must be ordered by 10:00 a.m. each day and a $2 donation is suggested. Transportation is available for seniors upon request and scheduling.
The Morris Community Senior Center may be rented for functions by the general public. A rental agreement must be completed and submitted to Town Hall. The fees for rental are $125 for Morris residents and $200 for residents outside the town limits. A refundable deposit of $200 is also required. The facility will be reserved only upon receipt of the $200 refundable deposit and completed reservation application. The rental fee is to be paid two to three days prior to the event at which time a key to the facility will be given to the renter. Contact the Morris Town Hall at 205-647-0596 for further information and scheduling.
