Morris Memorial Park
The Memorial Park honors the men and women who served their country in peace and war. Located on the west side of Highway 31, the park was dedicated on June 25, 1983 and was built by the Morris Beautification Board. American flags line Highway 31 in the park beginning Memorial Day and remain until after Veteran’s Day in November. Boy Scout Troop 283 sponsored by Liberty Baptist Church handles raising and taking down the flags each year.
